Maryam AlNoaimi is a Bahraini architect, researcher, and photographer whose work explores the intersection of spatial documentation and cultural narratives. She brings together her background in architecture and urban planning with visual storytelling, archival research, and knowledge-building practices.

She has contributed to research, documentation, and cultural programming with several institutions including the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research, the AA Visiting School Bahrain, and Bani & Al Culture. Maryam has exhibited her work locally and internationally, drawing inspiration from the urban narratives and dynamics she investigates.

Maryam is the Founder of Spatial Index, a project that serves as a visual archive of tangible and intangible spatial relationships. The project extends beyond traditional modes of visual storytelling by collecting and examining materials such as postcards, envelopes, stamps, and other ephemera that embody local historical narratives.

She is also the Co-Founder of the Design Majlis initiative and Manama Lab. As part of the BUILT/UNBUILT program, she served as assistant curator for the Saudi National Pavilion at the Biennale Architettura 2025.
